Hunter Building Services Limited is our Group Of Companies, comprising the following:

The above companies have grown from the roots of J H Horn Plumbers, held within the Hunter Family for 6 Generations and currently run by David J Hunter (Managing Director).

Hugh Scott (Builders & Slaters Limited) was a natural expansion of the existing plumbing business, offering a more specialised all trades service at a time where Property Management was demanding a more inclusive service for all concerned.

The business has expanded over the years in conjunction with the following client sectors:

• Property Management Companies
• Letting Agents
• Architects & Engineers
• Insurance Companies & Loss Adjusters
• Private Customers

The Hunter Group Of Companies provide an all-trades service with contract management from start to finish.

Whilst employing our own plumbers within the building and maintenance division, J H Horn provide and added value service, incorporating all domestic, commercial plumbing and heating services which are all provided under the banner of Hunter Building Services.

Our latest addition to the Group is the opening of our Wood Burning & Multi-fuel Stove business, City & Rural Stoves, based at our Crow Road Branch opened in 2009

One of our latest ventures coincides with our Partnership with Worcester Bosch and the opening of the only Worcester Bosch showroom in the Glasgow area, which accommodates both our Boiler / Renewable Energy Products and our range of Contemporary and Traditional Stoves. The addition of this new showroom provides a platform for our ongoing commitment to renewable energy products.

Continuing our growth in 2011 Hunter Building Services has acquired James Munro & Son (Plumbers), based in Edinburgh. This most recent development has coincided with reacting to client & customer demand for a presence within Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. This addition is based on an investment within a well established Edinburgh Company, with a view to building on their experience and our current client base.

Hunter Building Services Ltd and the Group Companies aims to provide both quality and services to all customers and clients and we are constantly reviewing and developing new systems, investing in plant vehicles and technology to keep up with current market demands, including GPS Tracking on all of our vehicles, to optimise our service to our customers. This ongoing process has grown the business into a leading Maintenance Contractor, within the Glasgow, Edinburgh & Central Scotland Area.
